During the class of video productions 2 taught by Mr. Richards, the learning objectives were to film zoot suit this is valuable to my future because it teaches me hard skills that I might be able to use in the future. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Video Productions 2 had the following learning objectives were to act out zoot suit and film it. These link back to the course learning objectives by performing our camera skills.
The assignment or project was about zoot suit and required me to rehearse on how I was going to film it and practice and after perfecting it film it. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with remembering on how to use a camera and all the settings of it.Then after I mastered this I practiced filming it multiple times. Once I thought that I practiced enough we actually filmed it. Once we were done filming all the scenes we had to edit certain scenes and make them look as professional as possible. Throughout this process listed above I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways on how to work a camera and how to film shot in focus. These link back to the course goals and project goals with the following evidence of the final product of all the scenes.
This tells me the following about myself and how I learn if I practice something a lot of times the outcome will come out good.
The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are Mastering skills needed in career and college and Thinking critically and creatively by thinking and deciding which shots I was going to use and the positioning of the camera. I have demonstrated mastering skills needed in career and college in the artifact by demonstrating my camera skills since some careers involve the usage of cameras This is important because if you’re in a wedding you’ll be able to be the cameraman. The Second SLO I demonstrated was Thinking critically and creatively by thinking and deciding which shots I was going to use and the positioning of the camera. It is important because this decides how good the scene is going to turn out. I could have improved the following SLO Self Directed learner who communicates effectively better by asking more questions to the people in charge.
Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year is to communicate with the people around you so the outcome can be the best it can be. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by not being shy to ask for help and learning more about cameras.
